Josh Wiseman, Attorney at Law
I am a general practitioner in Warrensburg, Missouri with an emphasis in estate planning. I am licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Missouri (UCM), where I graduated summa cum laude and was awarded the Outstanding Criminal Justice Undergraduate Student Award for being the top student in my graduating class. During my time at UCM, I was involved in the Student Government Association (chairperson), UCM Supreme Court (justice), Pre-Law Association (president), and the Mock Trial Team (team captain).
I earned my Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law (UMKC), where I graduated cum laude and was awarded the UMB Bank Excellence in Estate Planning Award for being the graduating student with the most aptitude in estate planning. During my time at UMKC, I was involved in the Urban Lawyer Law Journal (staff writer), Estate Planning Clinic (participant), and the Trial Competition Team (team captain). I also worked as a law clerk at both the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office and Assurant Employee Benefits while at UMKC.
Prior to going into practice with my Partner, Michael T. Carey, I practiced in the areas of estate, business and tax planning at the Mallouk Law Firm, P.A. where I helped clients protect the well-being of their families and shield their wealth from taxes, probate, and creditors.
