Michael T. Carey, Attorney at Law

Thank you for your interest in me and visiting my website. 

I have lived in Warrensburg, Missouri for over 20 years; and I sincerely enjoy being able to work in such a wonderful community. As an undergraduate student, I attended the University of Central Missouri (UCM) and earned a bachelor’s in Political Science. During my time at UCM, I served on several university committees, was involved in Greek life, and also served as the Student Body President. 

After graduation from UCM, I moved to St. Louis and worked on a political campaign. Although I enjoyed the experience, I decided to move back home and enter law school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). While at UMKC, I had the honor of appearing on the Dean’s List three consecutive semesters; and I devoted countless hours assisting the Jackson County Public Defender’s office. My latest community service includes membership in the Lion's Club of Warrensburg and on the board of directors of Main Street-Warrensburg.

In addition to helping people with their legal issues, I enjoy traveling, exercising, and spending time with my friends and my wife, Sarah (an elementary school Teacher) and our daughter Ella.
